The EDR Document Review screen is comprised of robust tools and features to assist users in filtering out duplicate and non-relevant documents and emails.
Follow the steps below to access EDR Document Review and conduct reviews on documents associated with the selected Request:
Open the Request for which you want to access Electronic Document Review.
Click Electronic Document Review from the Request Information screen.
After clicking EDR Document Review, the Document Review screen displays (if documents have been added to EDR).
The Document Review interface is shown on the example All Documents tab in the image below:
The Document Review screen has four main areas, as described in the table below:

The Filters & Search section has the following filter and search options available:

Quick Search |

Tagging |
This column displays colors associated with the responsive statuses of the documents. See Tagging below. |
Doc ID |
The unique identification number assigned to each document. |
Sent/Last Modified Date |
This column displays two items based on the type of document listed. If the item is an email, the sent date displays. If the item is a document, the last modified date displays. |
Name |
The name of the document. |
Dup |
The number of duplicates the system has found for the document. |
Cont |
If applicable, this column will display one of two symbols: the contained symbol |
Size |
The size of the document in number of bytes. |

Follow the steps below to add review tags to documents.
Select the documents you want to tag, and then click Tagging, as shown below:
The Tagging window displays as shown below.
Select one of the following Tagging options:

Select the new Review Status from the Review Status field. The available selections are Responsive, Not Responsive, and For Further Review.
Select the Produce Native File checkbox to tag the document as needing to be produced in native format
You can compare two documents side-by-side using the Compare feature in EDR. Follow the steps below to do a side-by-side compare of documents in EDR:
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review.
From the Document Review section, use the checkboxes to select two documents you would like to compare. After selecting two documents, the Compare button will become available. Click Compare, as shown below:
After clicking Compare, the Compare screen appears, as shown below:
Use the Compare By drop-down menu to show highlighted compare text. The options are Matching Text to highlight matching text between the two documents (shown in green), Non-matching text to highlight the text between the two documents that does not match (shown in red), and Differences, highlighting the differences in text between the two documents.
