Data Sources are the sources for the documents used to populate the EDR module. Users with the required Permissions can create and manage Data Sources for EDR.
Follow the steps below to access Data Sources under EDR:
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review
From the Document Review section, click Data Sources.
The Data Sources screen displays as shown below. Existing data sources appears in the grid if documents were previously loaded into EDR:

Follow the steps below to add a new Data Source:
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review
From the Document Review section, click Data Sources. From Data Sources, click Add to add a new Data Source. The New Data Source screen below appears:
Fill in the fields as required. These are described in the table below:

Data source selection, using either From Local Disk/Network to select files on your local machine, or From EDR File Server to source from the EDR file server |
When all fields are input as needed, click Save to save the new Data Source.
(!!) Note: When loading from a local disk/network, users will be prompted with a warning message
Follow the steps below to edit a Data Source:
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review
From the Document Review section, click Data Sources. From the Data Sources screen, select the Data Source you would like to edit, and click Edit. The screen below appears:
Edit the fields as needed, and click Save to save changes to the data source.
Follow the steps below to delete a Data Source:
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review
From the Document Review section, click Data Sources. From the Data Sources screen, select the Data Source you would like to delete, and click Delete. A verification message appears as shown below:
Click OK to delete the selected Data Source, or Cancel to revert to the previous screen.
Follow the steps below to access a Data Source Summary:
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review
From the Document Review section, click Data Sources. From the Data Sources screen, select the Data Source you would like to view a Summary, and click Summary. The Data Source Summary screen will appear as shown below:
Click Close to close the window and return to the previous screen.
If multiple Data Sources have been added to EDR, you can change the Data Source being searched from the All Documents tab.
Open a Request to which documents have been added, then click Electronic Document Review > EDR Document Review
From the Document Review section, locate the Filters & Search field on the left-hand side. The first drop down menu is for Data Source. Use the drop-down menu to select Data Source. The search and filtering will be done on the selected Data Source:
